I have been working in the golf industry for over ten years and am now in my sixth season managing the Linz Golf Club. For me, 2025 will be all about course quality: together with our team of greenkeepers, I want to take the greens, fairways, and bunkers to a whole new level.

You can see why this commitment is worthwhile on the 18 holes surrounded by the park-like gardens of Tillysburg Castle. The course looks back on 65 years of golfing history and is one of the most traditional in Austria. After a round in peaceful tranquility, you can enjoy fine cuisine on the panoramic terrace while the pros at the golf school look after not only adults but also 80 “Tillysburg Tigers” – one of the largest youth development programs in golf in the country.

A key tool for our further development is our membership of Leading Golf Courses. Anonymous tests measure strengths and weaknesses, and the “Leading” benchmarks give us tips for improvement with the greatest effect. Our members benefit from the Leading Golf Card and thus from discounted play at the best clubs in Austria. Just as valuable to me is the open exchange with colleagues from other Leading Golf Courses. Joint projects and fresh ideas inspire us all and help us to become better every day.
