Erwin Brauchart, Executive Director Golf Course Schloss Schönborn: »Feeling good between tradition and new beginnings«

While our golf club was previously known for its advanced age - and not just because of the trees in the beautiful castle park - the certain elitist character inherent in Schönborn is now more reflected in the excellent quality of the course. In the member structure, however, and among the green fee players, we have noticed a noticeable rejuvenation - and the nice thing about it: The "unique feel-good factor" of our facility is praised from all sides.

Quality is a tradition with us, which is why we were also a founding member of the Leading Golf Courses and have been back since 2017 after a break. Now it is a matter of consistently developing the balancing act between tradition and modernization - from the venerable setup in the castle park and the lasting elegance of the castle and the club restaurant in it to the friendly, nice contact with the golfers in the secretariat, pro shop and in the golf school.

This combination distinguishes us as a »Leading Golf Course« and through the anonymous tests we get important and valuable feedback about where we stand and what we have to work on ... so that everyone continues to feel really comfortable with us - regardless of whether they are young or old, traditional or modern!
