Stephan Eberharter, 54, Alpine Olympic & World Champion and single handicapper from GC Zillertal-Uderns: "The European Tour can come!"

The special thing about the Zillertal-Uderns golf course is that after many years of striving to build a golf course in the Zillertal, this wonderful overall gem was created. What began in the mid-90s with a driving range in the village has developed into an elegant facility after the opening in 2013 - with beautiful golf holes and a clubhouse including a top hotel that is second to none!

The course lives from its surroundings with the fantastic panorama of the Zillertal mountains. Due to its location at the front of the valley and the relatively low altitude for Tyrol at around 500 metres, the course is very easy to reach. The individual holes are player-friendly throughout and some long, challenging holes provide that extra sporty kick. The particularly cosy golf restaurant, together with the exclusive hotel directly on the course, creates an experience that goes far beyond golfing.

At only ten years old, the course is one of the youngest in Austria, but the course maintenance has met the highest standards since the beginning. The quick membership with the Leading Golf Courses says a lot about the quality standards. And the next goal has already been set: the club wants to bring the European Tour to the Zillertal!
