By Niki Baumgartner, Proshop Manager at GC Schloss Schönborn & Top Amateur (StV -3.0): »Dive into a golf-fairytale«

Born in Salzburg, I went to Vienna to study and found my new golf home in Schönborn. At first only as a player and in the meantime as the manager of the proshop. It was never my intention, but now I have turned my hobby into my profession - not as a pro, but in the proshop. I'm happy every time I drive through the entrance to the Schlosspark.

That's what makes Schönborn so special: The time here at the golf club is for everyone - from the staff to the members to the guests - like diving into another world, into a golf fairy tale. From the course in phenomenal condition all year round to the restaurant in the castle, from the golf school to the training areas and last but not least to the pro shop. And as the main credo everywhere, the highest demand for quality: that makes us a Leading Golf Course!

I see my job in the pro shop in making all customers better players. I do this by getting a clear picture of what they currently have in their bag and how they play, and then making my recommendations. I also see myself as a helper in all cases of need, when something has to be quickly repaired or changed or borrowed.
